Great Shades! is an independent distributor of 3rd
Generationtm Sunglasses. These great sunglasses are not sold in
stores, which is one way that we keep our prices low. The only
places you will find them is in booths like ours, or online here, or
at www.3gsun.com.
When you visit one of our booths, you will get help with
style choices and your glasses will be adjusted to fit your face
properly. Trust us - we have years of experience in making
people look good!
Ask us about the technology at work in our
glasses. We'll be happy to explain it to you. We are fully
trained sunglass specialists. Our training is ongoing, both
from 3G, Inc (our supplier) and from our own independent
studies. Most sunglass salespeople are only trained in sales -
not in what they are selling. Optometrists get only a few
weeks of sunglass education. Protecting your vision is not their
job. Their job is to correct your vision with eyeglasses or
surgery.
If you have an eye problem, such as macular
degeneration, have a look at our healthcare page. There you
will find links to websites where you can read about natural
treatments and nutritional changes you can make to improve your eye
problem. I know that your doctor said that it couldn't be
helped - what he meant was that it couldn't be helped with drugs or
surgery. Those are the only kind of recommendations he can
make, by law.
Our sunglasses carry a lifetime warranty,
backed by our manufacturer. If your sunglasses get scratched,
bent, broken, or damaged in any way at all (really!), you
just mail them to Sunglass Discounters, Inc at P.O. Box 2711193 in
Salt Lake city, UT zipcode 84127. Enclose $6 to cover the cost
of packaging, shipping and administration of this service. You
will be sent a brand, new pair of the same style. If your
style is discontinued, for some reason, you will be sent a similar
style whose price is equal to the one you sent in. Use this
warranty as often as you like, for as many years as you
want.
Please note that the warranty
on the Polarized sunglasses is a little different. They are
mailed to the Sunglass Discounters head office in Clearwater,
