I want to urge you NOT to use Google. Read this article to learn why   http://www.NaturalNews.com/023275.html

May 19, 2007.  Last night, we had the pleasure of talking to a woman who is a state Representative for four Texas Counties.  She was right there, when Dave said "La Raza" when the subject of illegal immigrants came up.  "They've won" she said.  "They don't want to be Americans, they want to take back this part of the country, as a part of  Mexico".  She is doing what she can, she said, to get proper legislation in and laws enforced.  Her other concern is the intention of many, in government, to create a North American Union, which would eliminate the borders between the US and Canada and betwen the US and Mexico.  She believes that there can be no gain for America in such a union, and little gain for the people of Mexico.  She sees Canada as being no help and no hindrance, in particular, either.  However, the Canadian's national health plan would very likely be adopted here.  Every Canadian I've spoken to hates it.  Canadians who have the means, come here for surgery, since many die waiting for their turn there.

I visited a website that I haven't seen for years.  It surprised me to realize that I actually agree with The John Birch Society.                                                           Check it out. I might surprise you, too.

Confused about the current presidential candidates? Click here for interesting information from Dick Morris.  Be sure to click on the link (right hand side of the screen) regarding Mitt Romney.  I think that many people have little or no information about this man.  I have great respect for him since I learned that he went to Salt Lake City, when the Olympics was in the planning stages, asked the Mormon Church to step out of it, took over the project and made it a money-maker. The Church had wanted to bann alcohol and tobacco entirely, which would have been devastating, financially.  This one move convinced me that Mitt Romney has the intestinal fortitude required to be my president.  How about you?

Another candidate worth looking at! Ron Paul is fully behind the Constitution. How very refreshing!  Click here to read about him.

THE FALL OF THE ATHENIAN REPUBLIC

At about the time our original 13 states adopted their new constitution

in 1787, Alexander Tyler - a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinborough - had this to say about "The Fall of the Athenian Republic" some 2,000 years prior:

THE FALL OF THE ATHENIAN REPUBLIC...

"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse over loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a dictatorship."

"The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence: From bondage to spiritual faith; From spiritual faith to great courage; From courage to liberty; From liberty to abundance, From abundance to complacency; From complacency to apathy, From apathy to dependence, From dependence back into bondage."

Do you see that we are currently moving from apathy into dependence?  We can do something about it by exercising our right to vote - at all levels of government; by voting for less Federal government and more State control: by voting for policies which forward individual responsibility, rather than welfare and subsidies.

From time to time, I get email from someone who has researched this quote on snopes.com, where it is reported that Alexander Tyler never existed and did not write The Fall of the Athenian Republic.  Personally, I don't care who wrote it. Obviously someone did.  It definitely gives us food for thought and a warning to alter our operations if we are to avoid the dire circumstances predicted in it.
