Below is the warranty, from our
supplier, Sunglass Discounters, Inc., for the sunglasses you
bought from our booth. Please understand that, when you mail in your
glasses, they do not come to Dave and Sue. We have no
information about when your glasses were received or when the new
ones will arrive in your mailbox. Questions about warranty
work should be addressed to the Sunglass Discounters, Inc. Salt Lake
City office at (801) 746-0988.
NEW AS OF JULY 15,
2005: The warranty card states that you should send your
glasses via first class mail - not certified mail or registered
mail. This policy has been changed. You are welcome to
send your glasses registered mail or certified mail, if you wish
to. In the rare case of sunglasses being lost in the
mail, these methods of shipment would make it easier to find out
what happened and ensure that the warranty works as it should.
This warranty exists to service
our customers. It does not profit Sunglass Discounters or
Great Shades! Sunglasses in any way. Anything we can do to
make it work smoothly, or to put you at ease in its use, is a good
thing. Please use our warranty with confidence. If you
have questions regarding the warranty, which are not answered in the
warranty itself (see below) please don't hesitate to email me (Sue@greatshadesonline.com
with "sunglasses" in the subject line).

Our guarantee is simple and
direct:
If your sunglasses purchased from one
of our authorized dealers or our website become
damaged in any way, for any reason whatsoever, no matter what the cause, Sunglass Discounters,
Inc. will replace the damaged sunglasses with a new pair for as long
as you own them for a shipping and handling charge of $6.00 per
pair. This charge covers the cost of administration,
materials, shipping and labor necessary to provide this service to
you. If no check or money order is enclosed, no
replacement will be made.
TO RETURN
GLASSES:
1. Enclose a $6.00
US check or money order for each pair being
returned.
2. Package sunglasses
in a padded envelope. Send glasses only. Do not
send sunglass case or other accessories.
3. Enclose a card or
paper giving your name and address.
4. Send the package
via the U.S. Postal Service, 1st Class Mail to the address
below. Do not send your glasses registered or certified
mail.
5. Your new glasses
will be sent to you. Please allow 4-6 weeks for
delivery.
6. If your style of
sunglasses is not available, we will replace it with the closest
style of equal or greater value.
